Beholding & Becoming
God is awakening a groan on the inside of those that love Him. This groan is empowered by His Spirit and is in perfect alignment with everything that He wants. This groan is part of the fuel that is radically aligning the lives of those that love Jesus to the Father’s eternal purpose. God’s dream is becoming their dream. His mission is becoming their mission.
For many, their thoughts are: What is God doing? What is life all about? Does it matter? Should it matter to me? Many don’t have answers to these questions or their answers don’t line up with the story the Bible communicates to us. In his book, Beholding & Becoming: Awakening the Groan for God and His Purposes, Michael provokes us to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will to have a heart set on fire to join in with the mission God is on. God is after something, and in the end of it all He will have everything He wants! It is important for us to consider what God wants and allow it to create the necessary frame for how we define success for our lives.
